During the initial consultation, we will examine the history of your pain or injury. This will be followed by a detailed examination to isolate possible causes and identify a diagnosis. In most cases, we provide suitable treatment options but before any treatment, a detailed explanation will be provided to the patient. If suitable we will proceed with your first treatment, however, if additional information is required, we may recommend obtaining appropriate imaging or tests first.
The initial consultation could take anywhere up to 40 minutes, and you would need to factor in that time.
After an initial consultation, there will be a follow-up consultation. This is important because:
- We need to check if you have responded well to the treatment provided.
- To decide on a suitable schedule and form of treatment going forward to achieve the optimal results
- Enables you to undergo further diagnostic testing or imaging if required.
- The follow-up consultation could take anywhere up to 20-30 minutes, and you would need to factor in that time.
This is a regular chiropractic treatment session customised to your requirements. The intention is to maintain your well-being and prevent future reoccurrence.
